Anybody use custom aquariums overflows? I'm debating between them, reef synergy, and glass holes. They're cheaper and seem to have good reviews but wanted to ask you all (you're the experts).

I have a glass holes and they are easy to install but I've never been able to get it to be silent.

I've also purchased a Synergy Reef and it is much thinner and has a better design that also integrates the bean animal overflow in a small space. I haven't installed it yet so I can comment on how loud/quiet it is but it's a very clean design.

Synergy reef! I love mine, absolutely silent. I'm glad I spent the money for it.

Thanks guys! I will be saving up for the synergy reef overflow then. My wife does not like the extra noise from the tank being up so silent is better
