Default ID for an invert?

Good evening all!

Well to be completely honest I don't think my husband and I actually know the name to anything in our tank, but there has been one little guy who I can't even classify in the slightest and I figure it can't hurt to ask. There is some furry little mushroom thingie in the front (I think) but I'm asking about the whiteish/see-through-ish thing to the right. It doesn't appear to have any tentacles like an anemone or feather duster type appendanges. I keep wanting to call it a tuber...

Finding and trying to name stuff in my tank I didn't know was there is usually more fun than watching the things I bought I think... lol. In fact the last time someone offered to donate a coral to my tank I think I said, "Wait! Don't tell me! I want to try to figure it out on my own!" Obviously it hasn't worked out for me too well so far... ;p

Now, let's see if I can insert a picture... Might be more than I can manage this evening...

Rock has been acquired from every place but the local fish store, lol. ~50% from someone else on the forums, before I knew about the forums (hehe), and ~50% from random Craig's List postings.

The guy on the left is a toadstool leather, the guy on the right looks to be some type of sponge

Congrats and welcome!

Oh, sponge! I always forget about sponges since they are so diverse in appearances, I expect one thing and then remember they can look like everything, lol.

the leather may be a young Lobophytun or Devils Hand Leather.

Hard to tell until it gets a bit more size on it, but it does look alot like small Devil's Hand frags I've seen in the past.

The little green one behind the toadstool looks like a frag of little green birds nest. Is it soft to the touch or stony?

Oh the leather does look a lot like the Devil's Hand pictures I have seen when he's feeling fine and with some little furry arms sticking out.

And I'm still a little afraid to touch things in my tank, but I'll be brave tonight and give the little green/white guy a little poke and see if it's soft or hard. Rotten Tomato clown will probably bite me... lol.
