Default Quarantine Tank

Alright everyone its time for another survey lol. I want to know wether or not all of you run quarantine tanks all the time or not? If you do run a QT tank all the time please let us know why, if you don't, again please let us know why. It is imperitive that you leave a description of the vote that you left, it helps people in the future decisions. You never know, someone just starting up may decide to or not to have a QT tank setup all the time because of a statement you make??

I don't currently run a QT tank, but I may think about it in the future. I haven't done it in the past, due to the additional work, equipment, and space required to do so. I buy most of my fish from locations that QT them before they sell them. I however just lost several fish due to a parasite, so am interested to hear what people have to say.

I voted no because I have not added livestock in quite a while. I ran a QT for the whole time that I was in the "stocking" phase.

I have the space but not the funds for one. Eventually would like to.

I voted no because I set up a QT tank when I need it but I don’t run one all the time. I would probably run a QT tank all the time if I had room for a bigger tank. I would like to have my 75g as a QT tank and have a 300g for my display but that won’t happen for a while.

Not all the time. I have a setup for it, but don't have it running since tanks are stocked. Also, can put new fish into frag system for observation.

i kind of do. I've got a small 10 gal aqua medic nano wave that is a small display tank that i usually put any new fish in before releasing it into my 120. depending on where i get it from. but its not disinated as a quarantine only tank.

Only 3 people out of all of us run QT tanks? Thats pretty surprising lol, I personally figured the number would be much higher lol. Well if you've got any other input, or if you haven't voted yet you still have two days! Even if you are interested in setting up a QT tank, if you still vote no it would still be cool to know that at some point you would be interested in setting one up!
