Have you tried peppermints and/or injecting them with Kalk paste or aptasia X? That's a lot easier to source, just as effective, and they don't die at the end.

You might be an engineer if...You have no life and can prove it mathematically.

I had a peppermint in there and he didn't touch a single one. I have A LOT that would feed one to two for a long time. The out break is in a holding tank where I just have a pair of clowns and a nem.

I picked up a file fish and I think it's to small to do anything.

I also picked up a filefish and he prefers to just hang out by my overflow/mid to top of tank. Just happy as can be. He's kinda fun to watch, and seems to have a cool personality. I'll pick up a rock with aiptasia on it and he'll come right up to it and pick them off. But it gets old holding a rock up so he can eat off of it. Not sure why he doesn't go to them. I was worried the filefish was too small, but he didn't care...he went right after them. Maybe try "hand feeding" the filefish?
