Anyone do flooring work?

We have a floating floor in our basement, a fake wood type. During certain parts of the year it expands and bubbles up. It looks like a little flooring needs to be removed around a door jam to make it all fit. Some of the trim between the fake wood floor and the kitchen tile will likely be destroyed in the process and will need to be replaced as well. Right now, the floor is flat.

Does anyone do this sort of work? If so, reply here or send me a PM?

Thanks!

You need to get an expert out there fast. Sounds like what was happening to a coworker. Had to tear up the entire floor due to moisture and mold. Spent months on it- anti microbial paint on the joists, new dehumidifier sump pump, and all new floorboards, and a few walls. I hope it is not that case for you, but better to be safe than condemned. Good luck!
