Oh believe me...I considered this already, lol. My original plans when I moved in were to put the bed on a stilt platform with the couch underneath to save some space. Unfortunately I'd probably get smacked in the head by my ceiling fan if I attempted it

Come to think of it though...I could probably raise it high enough to tuck my dresser underneath it...which would free up about 4' of wall space. Hmmm. haha
