Can anyone ID this guy?

Hey all!
Can anyone ID these?
They are a hard tube worm of some kind--about 1/4 inches long.
They seem to spin a filament into the water column to feed.
Getting to be a lot of them now...
Does anyone know if they are harmful?

Vermatid snail annoying but generally not harmful unless they smother a colony

an arrow crab would eat them most likely.
