Can you help ID this creature

    Got some free shells for my hermits and found this creature in a shell

    looks like a garden slug but cant really tell

    Looks like a small clam or mussel. Is it hard?

    It is hard, kinda thought it was a mollusk of some flavor

    That would be a clam for sure. I have many of these that live burrowed in the rocks
