Chalice baby?

So tonight while doing my daily stare down of my tank I discovered something on the sand bed. At first I thought that maybe what I was seeing was a broken tip of a pocillapora or something similar. So I decided to investigate it and try to save it.

I think it looks like a chalice....I don't have any. What does it look like to you all? Where did it come from? A spore from my live rock? Pretty cool regardless...it is about half the size of my pinkie fingernail. I mounted it on a piece of rock....good idea? Didn't want to lose it in the sand bed or behind the live rock.

Looks more like a cyphastrea of some kind.

Orange monti cap
BOP
Pocillipora
P birds nest
Green slimmer
Hydnophora
And some LPS' and Zoas

Noting looks like it.

Defiantly looks like a chalice or monti of some sort.
