Colony question

So what would you do if you had a minicrash and a few of your colonies were beat up. My huge pink and green is rtn'd a lot, ORA green birds is tiny now, and my tricolor valida may not recover. So I was thinking to cut them down and salvage what I could and plant some of my new MACNA frags in their place and replant the "new" frags instead of leaving half naked corals scattered around the tank. What would you do?

Frag 'em. I would typically be more than happy to replace a birdsnest with a different acro.
