Whole House Water Filtration and Softener

So we are looking at getting a whole house water filtration system and water softener. Does anyone have some suggestions? Also how will this affect my rodi? Thanks

I’m also looking at this...we’re building a house in the mountains where water is almost universally very hard.

When I was in CA we had well water and I got this water conditioner and really liked it.
