Interested in mandarine how well does he eat frozen food?

He gobbles it up freat now, he is just so slow. What I do is take a small frozen piece of Brine Shrimp and stick it in the sand. I have also been putting more Brine shrimp in when I feed and he is getting to it more as the others fish don't gobble it up in 30 seconds.
