Free chaeto and halimeda plant

I am getting rid of all my Chaeto and Halimeda. I have about three 1g ziplocks of Chaeto and about 4-5 strands of halimeda. It is free and I want it gone asap. I am going to throw it away after tomorrow.

Too late. Chaeto is gone. It grows so fast for me, if I decide to grow more, I shouldn't have any problems with it.

I am going to make an Algae Scrubber. The Chaeto cloggs up my protein skimmer pump and my return pump. And it just collects too much and I hate to wash it.

Did you measure all the pieces out and get the scrubber setup already? I'm interested in finding out what your before and after PO4 and NO3 readings are with each system.

I am going to try it this week. I was waiting for a check to come in from my last work so I could afford the pieces. Moving from Minnesota tapped our savings. I had one up and running before so I might have a lot of pieces laying around.
