So I got myself a fairy wrasse yesterday. This morning I looked at him and he had what looked like shiny white spots on his body. I picked him up and it just kind of fell off. Is it possible that he could of has some sand substrate stuck on him? Can ich just fall off the fish like that? Thanks. It's really freaking me out.

Can be sand....I got worried first time I got a wrasse....some create a mucus net around them when they sleep and can get sand stuck to them.

Oh thank god haha. Scared the hell outta me. If it was ich could it just fall off the fish like that?

Yeah when I was in there with you yesterday that wrasse was so healthy so I doubt it was ich. +1 on mucus because all of my wrasses have done that, especially when they are new in the tank.
