Hello everyone,

Not new to the hobby but new to MASC. Had a nice SPS reef about a decade ago when I lived in Austin. Moved here, took a heavy travel job, and got out of the hobby for awhile.

Long story short, bought a new house last year with an eye on placing a tank. The new system is about 8 weeks old and was upgraded from a 4 week old 90 gallon.

The specs:
150XH DT (48x24x31")
AI Hydra LED-lit (switching back to MH for the depth.)
Basement-plumbed sump (Trigger Systems 36S)
LifeReef VS2-24 protein skimmer
20H refugium (to be installed)
Aqualogic DeltaStar 1/4hp chiller (to be installed)
Neptune Apex Gold
(DOS)
(LSM)
(Controlling heat/cool/lighting)
(PH)
(ORP)
(Temp)
(Salinity)

Livestock:

Fish:
Male and female Squareback Anthias
Sailfin Tang
Yellow Tang
3 BG chromis (still happy)
Banggai Cardinal
Flame Cardinal
Cleanup crew (Trochus/Cerith + 2 top crowns and misc hermits
2 Skunk cleaners
(That's about all the fish that will go in.)

At this point, not much since this tank is still maturing but both of these have been doing well.

:welcome: back to the addiction and to masc. Looks like you got a pretty good start on a tank, look forward to pics or a build thread :)

Thanks for the welcome messages. At this point I/we are doing quite well. Been in Colorado almost a decade and now in Littleton for a year. Used to live in Park Hill but a new addition (and now another on the way) to the family necessitated a space upgrade. It's amazing how this hobby has changed while I was out of it.

Still have quite a lot of work to do:

This weekend: Move sump from top of equipment room stand to bottom.
Plumb up chiller in prep for MH conversion
Plumb up refugium (final)
Plumb up BRS GFO/GAC reactor pair

I expect to be showing some crack by the end of the day Sunday.
