The laptop my wife uses for her work just died, does anyone have a good working laptop for cheap?

keep an eye on woot.com and sellout.woot.com they tnd to have some good deals. they had an i5 laptop for a few bucks last weekend.

also with the holiday weekend im sure BB will have a cheapo.

geeks.com and ecost.com usually have decent ones.
I got a new one from New Egg for $650 with 4gigs of ram, 320gig hard drive, 10key, and an i5 processor.

We took it in to Geekstreet and the guys said it needs a new screen, the LCD is bad. We are getting a refurbished one through them.
