Howdy, errrryberdy!
I've been keeping a freshwater aquarium with various success over the last 7 or 8 years. I had a very simple set-up the majority of that time, but have slowly turned the care of it into more of a 'hobby' than a 'pain in the you-know-what'. My interest in the tank has increased substantially since I converted it to saltwater about 6 months ago, and updated my equipment by adding a protein skimmer, and a new lighting system. Anyways - it has now become a revitalized passion every since converting it to saltwater, and I'm here to learn everything I can!
I now have a 30 gal tank set up with live rock only. I am hoping to add corals once that I find some more powerful lighting.
