The dropbox link for the image needs to be altered slightly to work. Paste the dropbox link into the image url field, then remove the last few letters of the url, the 'dl=0', and replace with'raw=1' and it should load the image
I really don't know the age. I bought it along with a lot of other stuff from a friend when he was getting out of the hobby. Used it for about a year. No issues I have found. I gave it a good blow out with compressed air. Light appears to be well made and ran without problems for me.
