    I hate to kill something that is so pretty but I know they are a pain.

    You don't have to pull the rock, they don't spore and you can pluck them off.

    In fact I have one growing in a nook in my rock in my current tank. I had a hand full that I allowed to reside in my last reef also. My tanks are never bio-heavy so they don't populate much for me.
