No problems with PH or Ca but...

I have a bare bottom 30 gallon. Params are as follows.
440 Ca
1500 mag
9.0 Dkh
8.2 oh
Undetectable Po4 and Nitrates

My question is whether or not adding Crushed coral will do anything, good or bad to my system?
I have enough to put in my DT or could, as I have heard, just put a bag into my sump?
I rarely dose anything but some iodine and Strontium because I do weekly 4 gallon water changes with Fritz PRO.
Will adding it hurt anything?

I have a 30 gallon sump with healthy amounts of Culerpa to exchange waste and an oversized Reef Octopus 110 classic skimmer. I just really love the contrast the coral gives the tank. I guess that's the real reason I wanna add it

The only thing that I could imagine that you could experience from the addition is some PO4 leaching. Other than that, you are adding a place for detrius to build up, but no worse than any other items if you have a good CUC. No expert in the matter, but that is all I could imagine.

It will cloud the water a bit, might cause a mini cycle, but that would be temporary and small. So you should be safe to add it.
