4x250w mh, nitrates are barely readable
Is temp an issue? Post a picture so we can see what could be going on.

You think? I have an mp40 on reef crest , a modded mj1200,modded korallia 4 and the new version of mj1200 with the prop on a 240 cube. The return is a dart about 6 feet away. Almost the same set up as before except my sump used to be in the basement and now it's behind my tank

yeah, I would try to tone it down a notch. I run one MP40 and a koralia 3 on my 180g. My reeflo hammerhead is my return. My LPS and softies do awesome. How much SPS do you have? I dont have many SPS so I don't care for that much flow.....yet. I would slow the flow down and see what happens.
