Peppermint Shrimp

#1
We have a pregnant peppermint. My daughter is way, way excited about it. The little I've read indicates the babies will get eaten no matter what. If there is a way to isolate the mom please advise. Equipment to borrow would be greatly appreciated. The mom

The eggs are attached to the fins(?) under the belly, they might appear white to pink, and the shrimp will mess with em all the time, fanning and re-arranging things in that area.
When/if the babies hatch it will likely go un-noticed as we use filtration and have animals that will eat such things.
