Photography group/forum??

I am looking to take a deeper plunge into photography and was just wondering if anyone knew of a group like MASC with a focus in photography? I googled it and found some groups but am really looking for noobs like myself lol...

Not a forum... But there is this photo class a very skilled photographer put together on his website. It starts from the very basics and moves through into some more advanced techniques. I strongly recommend anyone who is dabbling with photography go through and read each section. tons of information in here!

Here is a local group that meets in Parker at the Wildlife experience (just off of I-25). I've been meaning to go and check them out at one of the meetings but never have had a chance.
