Salt Water in Wyoming????

Yes,it's true!!!! We even have running water here too. We just got a 125 gal tank that we're in the process of setting up. We are going to run a refugium system, but other than that we are open for suggestions. We had a ton of rock offered to us for free, but we didn't have a tank at the time. If anyone knows where we can get the amount of rock we need for a great price please let us know. Thanks for all the advice in advance!!!!

Welcome! Where in WY are you? The standard is making a three chamber sump. Water comes in the first chamber (through a filter sock if you like. Also where the skimmer is usually located) overflows into the second chamber (where the refugium is usually located. Macros and deep sand bed are usually found here. This also is a breeding place for your pods), water then goes through a bubble chamber and into the third chamber (this is where the return pump usually sits) hope this helps
