Started playing around a little more with the scope that I picked up with the group buy last month.

I found its easier to use the point and shoot with it than my SLR.
Tell me what you all think.

Almost need an adapter to hold the camera to the lens. The gorilla pod flexes under the weight of the scope. Be interested to see what you come up with

Betsy saw some tripods at the dollar store, still need to go check them out. I was thinking of making a adjustable PVC stand and incorporating the dollar store tripods into it. Also, I found that if the suction cup is above the scope, it tends to hold the scope a little better.

Yea I have been doing that too, putting the scope below the suction cup.
Was thinking of a plate, thin Acrylic, drill a hole two holes one to attach the scope to the front of it, one to put the camera tripod mound through and into the camera. ill have to play around with some of the acrylic here and see what i can come up with

I almost forgot about that, think I'll go look at scrap piles or super glue (the poor mans weld-on) acrylic together to make some sort of fitting. I'll let you know what I come up with.
