Scratches inside acrylic tank

So today I was cleaning the acrylic on the tank with my mag float and failed to notice not one but two astrina stars under the magnet. Any advice for removing these inside the tank without a tear down?

I'm interested in this as well. My scratches are from when I was a noob and don't know I needed to be careful around the sand. Lived with them ever since

Yep - Mighty Magnets has scratch kits which are basically sand paper up through 12000 grit (or something like that). http://mightymagnets.com/scratchKits.html I have the magnet if you just want to get the kit...

Its ok to sand out scratches in a populated tank right?
Do you have to use any sort of buffer?
(Kids have been known to try and "clean" the acrylic)
