Will the ATO outlet be below the water surface (it's tough to tell in the photo)? If it is, it could easily back siphon. Looks cool though. great diy.

No, not even close. The ato will refill in the pump chamber and that water level is roughly 7-8 inches from the top of the tank.

Tank is still dry, the only thing I'm waiting on is to find the purple shelf rock that we want. I checked at AA yesterday with no luck. I did pick up an MP10 for this tank though.

I did do a 48 hour test about 2 weeks after I resealed it. It held just fine. As soon as I find rock I'm ready to go. I've got 55 gallons of saltwater at all times so just need rock.
