For a couple weeks in the fall the sun hits the reflectors in the hood of the tank. When the blue led comes on it gives the best light effect! I snapped a cell phone pic this am.
It's a constant struggle... Mostly rewarding. When things took off a few months ago I had a hard time keeping up with the calcium demand. Dialed in again. Hoping things will take a turn up again. Had to trim a bunch this week, that's a good sign.
