Just as a side note, what lights are you running/have you changed them recently?
Could be Zoas expelling zoanthelle due to an increase in lighting but the pooping thing is much more likely.
I currently have current orbit LEDs. these guys have only been in my tank for a week and a half and only just fully opened a couple days ago so maybe not used to LEDs? They were under t5s at the store.
