Why are my Xenia dying off?

#1
Hey guys,

So I am a little confused as to why my Xenia are shriveling up and then disappearing.. Every other coral in my tank is thriving including LPS and SPS, even other softies. Here is a pic of my Xenia a week ago and here it is today. Water parameters are also fine..

My first guess would be something is eating them. I have had angels and tangs that like to eat xenia.

Or that birds nest is stinging it.

I only have 1 female true perc in there right now and that's it. I was thinking the birdsnest, does it sting?

Dont discount the clean up crew. Emerald carbs have been known to eat stuff too. Yes the birds nest could sting it.

Lol no emerald crabs either. I'm sure it's the birdsnest.
