Haha..autocorrect changed worm to work. Oh well...
Been having some issues with my Zoas recently and went thru today cleaning all frags off when I found this wrapped around the base of one of the polyps. It's maybe a dime across:

Hard to tell.. Bristle worm?
That was my initial thought but my rock was all dry and I don't have sand. Could it have come in on the frag? Have had it for 4 months and dipped 2x since then. I also don't have any "big" ones in the tank, just snails.

Doesn't quite look like a bristle worm, but I'm not sure exactly what it is. Probably hitchhiked in on a frag when it was very small. It's probably just a scavenger and would be good to keep, but without a positive id, I would remove it out of an abundance of caution.

I went through all my frags with a fine "tooth"brush and got all the diatoms and algae off of the frags - some were really bad. In the cleaning I found 3 more of these guys, all on frags that have struggled for the past month. In each case, the critter was wrapped around the polyps and extremely hard to get off. All were of the same size. I found them on both SPS and Zoas. Removed them all. Will see if more return next week and how the frags do that I took them off of.
