Does anyone know of protozoan or other microorganisms that might consume specific coral tissue? Whatever has been affecting my corals is still slowly picking away at my birdsnests and now it has turned on my purple stylo. I am attaching a video that I took using a microscope and there are what appear to be numerous paramecium and possibly a worm of sorts eating the tissue. Now they could be just eating the tissue that has already begun to die but I fear that it is some kind of infection.

That was one polyp that I removed from the edge where the colony was bleaching. I cut off 5-6 good size frags. I hope they survive this.

I haven't tested the water. It is only affecting corals like the birdsnest or corals that are in direct contact with the birdsnest. My acros are growing like crazy.
