It’s official, I’m leaving the “big” reef hobby and settling for my nano reef and FOWLR. My schedule is changing dramatically and it’s throwing wrenches into every aspect of my life. So I have to simplify and hopefully hang on to the hobby.
SO, the reef tank is up for sale now along with some awesome equipment. I really, really don’t want to part out but will after a week or two if need be. LOTS of incentives to buy as a whole…
The tank is 60”L x 18”W x 24”T (110g). Center overflow, VERY nice/custom tank. It’s actually a tank built by Acrylic Tank Manufacturing - ATM (from the TV show “Tanked”). The tank itself has only been up for around 10 months or so now. Custom stand and canopy, which the stain/color and build is one of the main reasons I bought this tank (before I even knew what ATM was).
Right now the tank will come with (2) 48” Reefbrite LED strips and (2) DIY LED strips mounted in the canopy. A Vortech MP40w ES. It will also come with the sand bed which I paid probably about $60 for mixing sand to what I thought was perfect, not too coarse and not too fine. At least 100# of liverock with lots of corals.
It is drilled with three holes for a hybrid bean-animal setup (sometimes called a herbie overflow). Loc-line nozzles x4 gives good flow. However, there is no sump for this guy because it will remain in place in my basement for the FOWLR.
So, here is the list…
1) 110g ATM acrylic custom tank PENDING
2) Beautiful Stand and Canopy (clam-style opening) PENDING
3) Vortech MP40w es PENDING
4) (2) 48” Reefbrite Strips (one 50/50; one all blue) PENDING
5) (2) DIY LED strips, 3w LED’s total of 60w per strip. One strip 50/50, one strip all blue. These are dimmable and have dimmer. PENDING
6) 5-stage RO/DI system. Running perfect, took offline when I got a different one a couple months ago. All it needs is more DI resin, but still probably near “0” reading for me. If you live anywhere else besides close to me, your reading will be “0”!! (I have the worst TDS in the state I think)
7) 2-3” layer of live sand.
8) 100# of liverock or more.
9) Lots of corals; Chalice's, hammers, torches, xenia, orange cap monti, zoa/paly’s (bam bams, cat eyes, pink zippers, CAR’s, lunar eclipses, etc)
10)Lots of CUC; tons of ceriths, tons of blue-leg hermits, several emeralds, blue tuxedo urchin and a cleaner shrimp.
Asking $2200

PS…if this is bought as a package, I’ll set the buyer up with a couple nice RBTA’s and some more frags of zoas/palys they might not have (from my nano). Definitely will make it more than worth your while, over the discounted MASC price.
I also have a Chevron Tang and a Majestic Angel that can be available as well for extra.
