So hopefully some of you breeders respond. I have been wanting to give raising a batch of clowns a go. It is finally happening right now as I type, my clowns are laying eggs. Is it strange that they are laying them right now while all lights are still on? Anyways, I have had my female since she was a juvenile, in fact I think she is one of Gales. Introduced a male about 6 months ago, they paired up within mins of introduction, however this is the first time she has laid eggs. Now if everything I have read is correct they should regularly lay eggs correct? My main question is should I start a culture of rotfiers or is it worth it since it is their first go? Should I wait and let them take care of this batch first and try and raise a later batch?
