My green toadstool leathers have been closed for 8 months. The cabbage leather and long tentacle leather are doing fine, just slow growth on the cabbage. I've tried dipping and I dose iodide every few weeks. My nitrates are around 3, phosphates 1. I run carbon and gfo. I took out gfo for a few months and nothing changed. I'm planning on doing an icp test soon. I'm just looking for any other ideas. I may just give them away to someone and see what happens if I can't get them looking better soon

Do you change water or otherwise have a strict regiment of dosing that includes all/most minor traces? Not everything needs it, but some corals, even softies, need them to thrive.

If you are not a frequent water changer, spend that ICP money on a box of IO or RC and change 176 gallons of water. You will not likely learn anything of consequence from an ICP test except for some false flags like tin or lithium issues (nothing to worry about in most cases), but the water changes can do some real good.
