Hi all, I have started seeing a few of these pop up on my rocks. Maybe a dozen total so far and mostly in shaded areas on the rock. What are they? Sorry I couldn’t get a better picture.

Looks like vermetid snails to me.

https://critterguide.ca/vermetid-worm/

Link talks about some of the approaches to getting rid of them.

They’re all over my tank. Constant battle. If you can catch them early, maybe you will have better success than me. They’re probably all over the inside of my pipes so complete eradication is probably not possible in my case.

Ya, looks like vermatids to me too. My favorite way to kill them is with bone cutters and crush the base of the shell. they will grow back if you just clip the tube.

One tank I had they went viral but another one I was able to keep them under control. I wouldn’t see more than like 5 at a time and was fairly diligent about killing them on sight. I just used a butter knife to crush them.
