Any input on this? How long do I need to let silicone dry? I may at this point just custom order a tank to replace this one cuz my wife dosent trust my redoing this one. Lol anyone interested in a drilled 20"20"20 cube? It includes 1/3 a tube of rtv 103 so u can do the silicone again.

Over kill is not a bad thing! Id let dry for a coupple of days at room temp Before trying to water test! But on the other hand it pays to be safe if it water tests then I'd move foreward w the build! But I tend to live life on the edge sometimes! :)

You will be fine. Let it dry for 48 hours and then test. Add a few inches of water at a time, let it sit for an hour or so, then add a few more inches.

Silicone is soooo overkill I cannot understand any doubt, its fine as long as it holds water, silicone to glass is a super strong bond.
