I am currently setting up a cree led lights so I can start getting into some corals and maybe a clam for the little lady. I have 2 12" makers led heatsinks with 24 XT-E royal blues, 12 XP-G neutral whites, 8 violet uv, 4 XP-E greens and 4 Phillips es reds. I have been looking at RC about some meanwell drivers that dim to 0% but are controlled with pwm not the 0-10 volt that my apex vdm module puts out. I ordered a aquarium controller interface from steves led. It takes the 0-10 volt input and convert it to pwm output.
The problem that I'm running into is the LEDs once they are dimmed to 0% from the apex they are still slightly on. Also once I turn off the power supply the LEDs light to full brightness for half a second.
Any help from electrical gurus would be awesome. Here are some pics of my current progress.
