Help Need 250w radium bulb or any besides xm to check ballast xm fires inconsistent

I have a lumatek ballast bought a brand new xm 10k bulb and it fires one day not the next day i have to run thru the on off a few times then it fires want to try another bulb before i buy new and make sure its the xm bulb and not something else but ive heard of this problem alot willing to purchase a used bulb cheap just so i can test this thanks!!

Ideally an old bulb on way to trash but still firing i just want to test consistent firing of bulb on my ballast im in lakewood ill pickup asap

I had terrible luck firing XM lamps (same problem you are describing) on Lumatek ballasts switched to Hamilton lamps and no problem since.
