Hi everyone,
My name is Trent. I have already had the privilege to meet some fellow reefers, and wanted to say hi to everyone I haven't met yet!
Born and raised in CO!
I lived in Maui, HI and made my living as a professional fisherman and captain, sport fishing for all species of large game for 5 years. I have been blessed to catch numerous blue marlin, with the largest to date estimated at 900 pounds! I practice catch and release with all billfish that are healthy enough when landed (all marlin in pics died, aka heart attack on the line, all marlin donated to local charities)
I have also lived in Alaska and worked as a boat captain and professional fisherman there as well.
While living in Hawaii, I volunteered with numerous REEF RESTORATION organizations, and was able to practice Mariculture of various SPS. Also volunteered with the Wild Turtle Foundation, and was able to experience all the little babies hatching and making the water line!
I live in Colorado now, but will be returning to Hawaii after medical school.
