So i picked up a little 12G recently for an angler tank. It came with what looks to be a good light. Its about 16" across and has 120 LEDs. Mostly white but there are 48 blues. You would think that it would put out enough to grow some zoas but they don't seem to get enough light at 10" under. They can go to the bottom of the tank that would put them maybe 18" away blew the lights and that is much worse. So guessing they aren't getting enough since I can stick the frags back in my main DT and they do great. Looking for a new light but I don't want to drop a fortune. Anyone have anything or recommendations? I can't see dropping a ton of money to grow zoas but I would like to make it prettier. Its an AIO tank is about 16" long. 9" wide and 12" deep (water level to the bottom, 10 1/2" to the sand bed.
