I have a old EcoRay 60 LED unit. One cord - 30 whites and 30 blues. All on or all off. Currently half of the leds don't light. It looks like it has 2 transformers inside and I would guess one of them is bad. Both the Blue and the white are wired together. So one half is out. Still 15 white and 15 blue light.

I have replace the unit and now it sits in the garage. I would like to see if it can be fixed and would it be worth it. It would make a good light for my refugium or maybe a fag tank.

Anybody got these skills or "know a guy"

Thanks I am in no rush

One of the drivers are probably bad. Take a look at the specs, they should hopefully be on a label right on the driver; check out ledgroupbuy.com and you should be able to email them specs and get a replacement for around $20.

I can wire it up for you if you need help with that, but it's a pretty simple splice :)

If you go ahead and put in a new driver, why not add a couple switches as well for blue/white control. Possibly put all blue on one channel and all whites too.

If you find a replacement driver, I can help put it in as well.
