Does anyone near broomfield have an NIST traceable thermometer that I could borrow for a few hours to verify calibration on my apex temp probes?

I do but according to ice water and the other thermometer I have calibrated in ice water its 1 degree off... its about 6 months old. I think my ice water calibrated thermo is more accurate personally.

That's not a half bad idea. I could check my meat thermometer at freezing and boiling and just create a regression curve to calibrate against.
