Need to verify my salinity

Got a refractometer today and it says my salinity is 1.016 ughhhhh WTF so someone close by with a refractometer verify my salinity or I'm just retarted and can't use it haha.

I'm in aurora off e-470 and smoky hill tomorrow I won't be home until around 6-7 tomorrow.

Im at smokey hill and himilaya and can test for you. I just ran out of calibration fluid checking mine, but we can check salinity off mine to calibrate yours.

It's 35ppt solution. There should be a calibration screw under a rubber cap somewhere on the refractometer you turn with a small screw driver.

I got mine as a package deal from BRS, but I'm sure some of the local stores carry it.

I got one from premium aquatics, their instructions said to use ro and use the calibration screw to move the scale you see, it should be at 0 with RO. I forget the solution Don said to use, think it had something to do with borax.
