Vibrant is an Algaecide

Many of you have probably seen me post that Vibrant is an algaecide.

I just want people to know what it in it so that they can make good decisions about their tanks. It is a polyquat very similar to what is in API Algaefix. It is not some magical alien bacteria that only eats algae and does not reproduce in our tanks yet needs to be cultured in our tanks since no bacteria can be seen in the bottle that does not need stored in the fridge nor has an expiration date. Some sort of organic carbon too.

If you want to use it, then cool, but at least you know what is in it now.

If you care to read more, this thread lays it out, but feel free to skip a few pages in to where you see the blue test on some slides and stuff. The poster's thought that it contained Fluc is not right, but the right answer was found later on.
