Greetings,

Just a heads up for everyone attending Reefstock about a change. There will be no raffle this year. Instead we will be holding a silent auction with proceeds going directly to Reef Adams (Jake & Windsor's little boy) 529 education fund. Looking to help grow up another marine scientist... or future tradesman... or whatever else the little dude wants to pursue.

So how does this work?

Twice daily we will offer a series of cool items to the highest bidder. Instead of buying raffle tickets, you'll place your name, phone number and bid on a sheet for a specific item or grouping. There are minimum bids and increments to help things run smoothly. At the allotted time (published on each form) we will close the auction and contact the winner to come pay for their prize. Minimum non-cash bid is $25.

But wait, what if there are two or more folks who really want an item and are trying to desperately write down bids? No worries. When we close each item, if there are other interested parties we will hold a quick live bid off. Once the bidding stops, we will move to the next item. If an item has no contested bids, it simply gets awarded to the highest bidder.

Do you need to be present to win? No. We will call you as the high bidder and ask you to claim your prize in the next 20 minutes or so. Unclaimed prizes will go to the next highest bidder. If the item you are bidding on has several active bidders, it would behoove you to be present when we close the bids lest you be outbid at the last minute.

Can't make Reefstock but would like to support Reef and his future education? You can donate to his 529 plan here: https://app.backer.com/reefseducationfund?

What items can be bid on you ask? There are over $12K in prizes currently, including, but not limited to the following:
- Kessil - A360Xs and A80s plus mounting hardware (8 total ~$1800)
- Tunze - DOC Skimmer 9415 ($680)
