Difficulty Level: Clove polyps are extremely tolerant and a great choice for beginners.
Feeding: Clove polyps are primarily photosynthetic, but may catch some small particles with their feathers.
Lighting (Level 4 to 7): Clove polyps will adapt to almost any type of lighting.
Water flow: Low to moderate water flow is preferable, but they will adapt to most conditions.
Placement: Be sure to give clove polyps plenty of space as their growth rate may cause them to shade neighboring corals.
General: Clove polyps are a great beginner coral and are very easy to frag.
