As the title States I'm looking for a cube or one that somebody can DIY. I will supply the acrylic or glass. Not sure what would be stronger for rimless. Let me know.

You have to decide acrylic or glass. That changes everything about the build. Acrylic will probably need to be thicker to go rimless. You also have to decide the dims that you want.

How far out from the wall can it go? A 2x2x2 cube would be sweet.

Kind of tall. That sounds like a sweet setup though. What's the price to make something like that.

Before I bought my cube, I wanted to DIY one. I got the measurements, then called around for pricing. Turned out, it was cheaper to buy a new one than to DIY one. HTH

I talked to Daniel the other day cause I was interested in a cube I wanted one 24" high 24" wide and 28" deep cause I was going to have him install a black piece of acrylic at 24" so I would have 4" in the back to in stall chambers and room to drill for sump and everything could be hidden behind the back black wall don't quote me but I believe it was in the $500 range which is a steal in my opinion!

How much was glass?
I wanted to build a 2x2x2 cube, I believe the glass alone was somewhere around $125-$150 per panel, I needed 5. I was going to do 3/8" instead of 1/2", and euro brace it. I believe the safety factor calculator said it was a safety factor of 7 with 1/2".

You could do a plywood tank. Look on RC for the build threads.
