Maximum coral growth

#1
Hello everybody :) I have been looking for other ways to try and maximize my Sps coral growth. Besides good husbandry, lighting, chemistry, etc. I was reading an article that was talking about how they noticed when they frag their corals they grow back faster and with more branches. Is this true? What are your experiences with this?
Thanks :)

I would agree with this. I routinely break of some branches off mine and glue them close to the base of the original coloney to create bigger colonies. Most places I break them off from will grow back really fast, and sprout 2 or 3 branches.

Depends on the original size. Usually do this on bigger peices...otherwise its kind of a waste since you really have to glue them down. So most of the time at least an inch.
