Need to borrow, please!!

I need to borrow a 175 watt mogul base metal halide bulb to test a ballast system I got. I don't know much about metal halides, so forgive me in advance if I ask some strange questions beforehand I come pick it up.

So I got a bulb from a friend and its not the right base... The one I need is on the left, the one I got is on the right... What do I have?!?!

What kind of light setup are you working on? I have a base for the bulb on the right you can have if you are doing a retrofit setup.

I don't think that's the right size wrench for the bulbs either...lol.jk

I believe the bulb you have is for high bay lighting

The fixture nor ballast have any name on them... I got it for free, because we didn't know if the ballast or bulb was bad, but it's a 175 watt, dimmable. I know nothing about halides because its the only lighting I haven't run...
So are there different socket sizes?
